and thats the way to do it...very nice...i do that to just about everything except a few, cheisel, sogouda, armageddon 47 that really hate it so they punish you with delays...ya take a 2 ounce power plant and turn it into 8 in the same time..these girls are amazing....works wonders with mk ultra, dutchmans royal orange, train wreck, vanilla kush, lsd, and many others....if yer scared to top learn how to supercrop to allow more light into yer canopy for fuller buds low...again..real nice..have a good grow

When I mentioned in my thread that I was thinking about topping my plants, most said not to, no reason, so I didn't do it...I thought 2 or 4 tops would be better than 1 but ???...

The reason for that advise was, you didn't have the space for wider plants, ZBeebs; it's certainly not that it's an ineffective method!

Cisco, you may want to look into doing a scrog grow, these are easily the best method to bump your yiled using a cfl, if I can find it later I'll link you to a grow over at icmag where someone gets amazing yields under a cfl (200ish watts) using a scrog.

I've mentioned on the forum that I am opposed to topping, for me and not the general public. There are arguments (read discussions) on the validity that topping would increase yield. From personal experience, this was not the case. Maybe it was the strain (Super Haze) or I did something wrong (most likely), dunno. I may give it another go, maybe.

As mentioned previously, one problem that could arise when growing in a box is with space (width), especially with Indicas. As for Sativas, might not be a bad idea, depending on the strain, given that they like to grow tall. With no main cola, shouldn't have a height problem (as I had), all things considered.

Too bad you have these constraints, I definitely can empathize in my current situation.
I must say that these plants look great for being grown under Flo's. In all honesty, they are the best looking plants I've seen without using HID lamps.
As for yield, looks a lot more than 12gms. You sure about what you wrote - 5gm yield, per plant? WTF were you growing, Smurfberry? Sorry.

Not sure of your situation, but maybe you could look at a 150W HID system? Cost 100E or less complete. The return on investment will be realized on the very first grow. Here's hopping...

Happy farming.
