barneys is really great!
really...been so often to this place because their food is awesome

and yeah...its crowded...but then just wait at the bar, order beer or milkshake and roll something! you won´t regret it

la grotte only is a nice place :) ... food is shit there! really...was there just once

ordered two continental breakfast...bad stuff
croissants gets hard on your table
but the interior is very nice

so if you just want to get a spliff and coffee for breakfast it´ll be your place!

Hill Street Blues on Warmoestraat is my usual breakfast haunt.
The mozzarella, tomato and pesto toasties are delicious. Washed down with a delicious fruit smoothie, can't beat it.

I had breakfast at barneys uptown this morning accompanied by some blue cheese. The continental breakfast was great. All in all breakfast in Amsterdam is rank and is often served in a pool of tomato juice with beans. Not sure if you like that.

I think it depends on how you define breakfast?. Some think of breakfast as a nice big fried bacon, eggs tomato beans meal etc. While others are happy with a toasted sandwich or just toast and cheese.

But may well give Hill Street Blues a go for breakfast in april as love that place during the day.

i have to agree with, popeyes they don't charge as much for ya grub as barneys and the staff don't move you from your table to another just so they can fit more bodies never really like barneys though the weed is great, both a across from each other,
thats the great thing about the coffeeshops in dam no one is wrong its all about what you like or don't really
peace to all who walk through greener fields

popeyes is good enough for the price, but if you are expecting are proper english breakfast you will be dissapointed. thinking about it i allways make popeyes my first stop and always get a brekkie, so thats got to mean something, it is well cooked the only down side is you get cocktail sausages and some salad on the side, o yeah if you love spinach you can pay more for the popeye brekkie which is the same as the other one, just with spinach on the side lol. the staff are also really nice and always go thro the menu and happy to show u every thing, plus free hits on the not so great tasteing peace pipe, but its free so no complaining.
