Vote for LEAP member's question to Obama

Search for "police officer" to find his question.
As a police officer, I saw how waging the war on drugs has cost a trillion dollars and thousands of lives but does nothing to reduce drug use. Should we discuss legalizing marijuana and other drugs, which would eliminate the violent criminal market?
And vote!

Was at 550 votes just now.

My mind just exploded. The top 50 questions are ALL cannabis related.

I'll say this again.... EVERY SINGLE ONE of the top 50 most popular questions for Obama is related to cannabis!

Does anyone else find this as incredible as I do? See for yourself:

1. Go to http://www.youtube.com/worldview
2. Click on "all questions"
3. Click on "sorted by popularity"

Someone also compiled them into one image: http://i.imgur.com/9aDiO.jpg

If Obama still refuses to talk about this issue, we know he's a fucking spineless, lying puppet of a leader, and is completely buried under the corporate thumb. Sorry if this offends any supporters, but what other conclusion is there? The people have spoken, its impossible to ignore this any longer, without losing all integrity.

On the other hand, what if he DOES answer the cannabis question? Will the conservative media tear him apart?

By the way, this isn't my discovery, I saw it on Reddit.

:D

6858 at the moment!

Personally, I believe the legalisation issue is much bigger than cannabis, but I can say I did get a warm feeling inside when I was trying to find the most popular non-marijuana-related question.

Definitely. Legalisation is really about personal freedom. I hope cannabis is the issue that pushes things over.

Hmmmm, whilst he mentioned drink driving, he made no mention of the dangers of alcohol abuse which is widespread in most countries, and the cost to health services, and the violence drunkenness leads to etc. Lets face it, what city would you feel safe in of a Friday night? One where everyone is drunk and full of bravado, or one where every one is chilled out on weed?
Could it be that as the drink industry is controlled by multinational companies worth billions that he dodges this issue. The land of the free? Do me a favour.
