how long do you keep your extractor fan on

It all depends on the smell.....mother plants, they don't smell as bad as flower's, so I run the fan 1/2 hour before the light comes on and 1 hour after the light shuts off. Then adjust my timer as the smell increases.
With flowers, same as above, but it doesn't long before I'm running the fan 24/7 just to play it safe. I don't want the pizza guy telling me how good it smells in my house.

All the time, get yourself a fan controller coz only a total numpty would deny his plants fresh enriched air. I use a klimavator and have had it since they came out with no probs and it will do intake and out. There are probably more modern ones around now but as its never failed so i have never looked.

I've never had any problems with my grows running it this way.....but after reading all these posts about running it 24/7 ..... I'll have to try it and see if there's any difference. Change is good.
