Canadian professional smokers. Feb 6-10

Hi ACD'ers,

I've been visiting Amsterdam since i was a kid. Since going on my own in 1998, my dutch travels have been geared more towards smoking marijuana than following my parents around. Visits followong were 1998 summer, 2000 summer, 2003 summer, 2005 summer. 2006 summer (w/current non-smoker wife)

Since 2007, I have been going at least once a year with my good friend Paul (plus 1 to 3 tag alongs depending on the year). Airfare from Canada is usually over 1000$ so it is much more of a luxury than for you Brits, cause if i lived there, i would be going monthly.

So this year I cashed in some Aeroplan points for a Business class ticket from Montreal to Amsterdam on Lufthansa connecting in Munich. It's gonna be nice to actually have room to sleep on the overnight 8 hour flight. Pauls mom was a flight attendant so he gets to fly cheap on Air Canada. We land on Feb 6th at noon.

We know the city pretty well by now and know what we want to smoke. First stop is Grey Area as always. Next will be Amnesia. Also looking forward to finally hitting katsu up. Green place is also a must visit. Last year due to all the great words about Basjoe, we went to check it out and it was very un appealing. Average smoke, rude bud tender and the place was drab. Never going back.

Who will be there at the same time?

I will be in town, so I can join you for a couple of joints the 8th or 9th if you want 8)

If so, let's decide somewhere to meet. Any more people in town then?

it's $850 taxes in return from Montreal on KLM for April... that's a decent price.

You have been posted on the February Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/profi ... le&u=41162

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

Enjoy

Yeah we have had the weather.I live in qld which has copped it bad. Our city brisbane in many parts still has no power as do many suburbs. The damage is really bad. I escaped without too many problems. We have a very large cyclone about to hit North qld tomorrow. There is plenty of concern in that one as its a really large one. People are evacuating the area rapidly

But i leave next week for my second adventure

As for the rest i got an absolute bargain ticket at $1700, This trip is only 26 hours with a 3 hour stop at singapore. Last time i went with a different airline and it took 33 hours. I only get 68 cents in the dollar as well. But hey , thats life. We have great food, plenty of sun, good beaches even if out cost of living is out of control
