I was gutted too after spending ages reading through the blarb to find out the same.

Hopefully I'll be getting one in the next few months. I plan to spend some time doing some Chrome OS development for a client. For the time being let's see how this Android App turns out Will post back updates here when I get it.

I found out this past Friday that I'm not getting the CR48. Google has stopped making them for now, we'll see if they come out with something new.
