Spring Bulb Spotting trip

The wife , fancies a trip to see the bulbfields in all their glory (PS - she is ok with me sliding off for some "relaxation" as neccesary - to be fair) - obvious tulip spotting hot spots appear to be the area around Haarlem and Leiden - all good ACD destinations.
Any hints from resident Holland residents , or past visitors appreciated for the bulb / tulip side - so a trip can be put together. This excellent site answers everything else. Any help appreciated.
