Three steps up and in thru the clear plastic sheets.
There was a guy ordering some pre-rolled joints, so I waited.
I asked for some White Widow, but it was only small buds left,
so instead he offered me AK-47, which looked different.
I took the AK-47, sat down next to the guy with the pre-rolled joints.
Had a bag with fresh brocoli and eggs, put it next to the hot heater.
Rolled a joint with the AK-47, smoked it and rolled another one with
White Widow which I bought at La Tertulia. Ordered a tea, went to the
extremely low toilet. It felt very compact. The stairs were a bit weird,
but managable.
Sat down again, talked a bit with the guy with pre-rolled joints.
Also smoked and shared the White Widow joint with him.
All the time I was there, Bob Marley thru the speakers.

Situated not far from the main Pathe cinema near the Waterlooplein station, this coffeeshop is a two floor structured building. The top floor is really the only floor that has any personality or character. The dull bottom floor is only for people who are below the height of 5’6’. Anyone who is taller then this will have to spend most of the time bent over on their way to a seat or squatting. The upper floor is tropical beach themed with wooden beach walls and beach artwork all around. The décor has been given an average ranking due to the bottom floor being poor. The top floor is definitely worth a visit if you enjoy spending your time on a beach in Hawaii.
The seating is limited with the wooden stalls being the only option available upstairs. Downstairs there is a different style of seating but it is very cramped and in poor condition. There is a large LG television screen, which was showing the television in HD. Watching tennis that big while stoned was impressive and left me in awe. The music in the shop at the time was some hardcore rappers shouting and a few gunshots being fired. It was a little loud for my tastes but the fact that they even had it on was points in my book and if it had been a bit lower in volume and more varied then I think it would of scored a lot higher.
The view was quite nice being higher than street level elevation. There were seats at the window that allowed you to enjoy watching people walk past and the odd bike running over someone’s foot. The shop is right next door to the cinema and from this they receive a lot of customers and it also creates a lot of foot traffic going by which is good for people watching. There is a bar opposite the coffeeshop, which also gets busy and can create quite a viewing spectacle.
Overall, the prices are quite average and there is a lack of food, to go with the lack of effort put into this shop by its owners we would say that this is a fairly mediocre venue. It’s worth having a quick look in and maybe if the seats at the front are free grabbing a drink, but don’t worry too much if you don’t have time.
For the ratings that we gave on this shop go
here.

What a small CS downstairs was full and didn't think we were allowed to smoke with tobacco upstairs but the budtender said it was cool. Can't even remebered what was purchased all I remember is one of the group (a non weed smoker) taking a few tokes whilst suffering a hangover resulting in her exiting very quickly lol. Two tvs upstairs too one with football and the other tennis bonus for one us not me just zoned into people watching

visited this coffe shop 3 years ago tues coming , on my 18th birthday. it was the first coffeshop i went into and it was the best one of my trip. the bud tender was a proper happy fella and the place just had a positive chilled atmosphere. I got a gram of amnesia haze wich was probably the best weed i had over there not the strongest but such a good smoke, like beathing in fresh air packed with piney citrus flavour and it would seem like you where exhaling forever, mouth watering.
the decor of the shop is pretty cool to , we sat down stairs ( the steepest stairs in amsterdam i reckon ) there was no one down there ther was a television and not the comfy-ist wooden seats , all in all great place il be sure to visit again on monday when im back over there

I spent a few hours here as my hotel was right across the street. Nice selection of teas and the hasj was decent. Nothing to write home about, but that was when they were still accepting Guilders. Been a while. I hope much hasn't changed as it was a great place to skin up before heading back to my hotel.

More of a hash place! The Manali I got there back in August was very good. They had some Moroccan that looked interesting, but I never made it back for a second round.
So many shops; so little time!

Too true. I always make a mental note to get back to a place where I'd purchased something good, but new shops that come across my peripheral vision seems to wipe any mental notes....until I get some crap hash.
