Pretty much correct. The D66 and the VVD are both 'Liberal' parties. Not liberal like in the United States (where the Democrats are considering 'liberals'. D66 both believe in the free market, promotion of business and personal liberties (to a degree) but D66 is left of center, and the VVD is right of center and can be pulled harder to the right when needed.youngian wrote:lets see if I've got this right-

D66 I think is a left of centre liberal party and tend to side with Labour, whereas the VVD are a more free market liberal party and side with the Christian Democrats.
