Re: Shooting at De Kroon
Oh yeah, I was looking for a gun actually being pointed at someone and them being shot.Uncle Ron wrote:Look at the video again. He discharged his weapon as it was pointing down and away from his (the shooters) left side. It happens right after the camera view that seems like he is looking at the camera (with eerie eyes). Notice the bright flash, that's called a muzzle flash. It happens when a weapon is being fired. When the weapon was discharged, it was highlighted by a circle at the 00:44 second mark.Tranquilised wrote:So if an actual shooting occurred did it happen after they dragged him outside the shop 'cause I can only see pistol-whipping inside?

Sheesh...
I guess a more accurate title would be "Shot fired in De Kroon"

Still sucks that it happened in a C/S, not to mention happening at all.
The guy with the pistol will probably end up shooting himself or someone else by accident. It's just a matter of time....
Peace through superior weed...

So I just found out there was shooting right near my office in the Schinkel, right in front of the Space and Aeronautics Lab.
I worked in DC for ages, and we never had dead bodies in front of my office. Dutchies gonna get some ribbing when I get home.
RIP to the young man...

Watch it again, watch the first elbow thrown, this is a muay thai technique, the guy pivots on his right toe as he strikes pushing the right side of his body forward, good body mechanics. Now the second guy puts in three quick knees. I can guarentee you both of these boys have several years training behind them. The man with the gun is an idiot.ktown smokerz wrote:Wow this Sucks, no wonder they needed a gun they look like right pussy's, look how shit they fight lol! and what mugs aswell no mask's or anything, they are bound to get caught, stupid bell ends

With such clear photographs, shown at the end of that video, I believe they will be caught at some point.
It's an odd mugging, it looks like they followed this guy into the coffeeshop, as if the victim was trying to separate himself from them to begin with by entering an establishment. I don't really understand robbing the one person and not the store, which would have more money at hand. Seems like that something else was at stake here.
It reminds me of what I hear about Atlantic City, muggers looking for intoxicated people, probably true in any city for that matter. It would be nice to get a follow up on this story when it's resolved.
I would hope that the coffeeshops have a panic alarm to call police in the event of a robbery like the liquor stores in Hollywood.

There must have been a door there in the wall when I came in.
