Recommendations Please

Post by JayK »

I'll soon be heading out to Amsterdam for a second visit and am looking for some advice on what to smoke, I generally prefer quite a light smoke that gets me high but not too stoned and lazy. I plan to smoke it up in the mornings and have a wander round the museums as I didnt make it to any of those last time!

Finding evening smokes is easy because I dont have to worry about getting messed up and lazy, but finding a nice lift during the day is tricky, especially in Amsterdam where everythings is pretty freaking strong!

Cheers,

Jay

Best bet for lighter high's would be sativa's I think, less body, more head. If in doubt just tell the budtender what you want an they will almost always be willing to help you, as a high, happy customer tends to come back ( if they remember where they got it  ) imho

Cheers for the advice, I figured Sativas would be the way forward for day time smoking. Its weird to think I'll be able to specify exactly what I want to smoke and what kind of high I'm looking for, if only English dealers were so knowledgable and well stocked!! any specific strains I could look out for to get a nice light high?

I'll be around from 15th - 22nd August with my girlfriend, wih a couple of days away at a music festival called Lowlands (www.lowlands.nl).

Its been years since I visited Amsterdam and can't wait to get back, already planning my precious time out there, although most well made plans fall to pieces after a morning smoke!

Also, any recommendations of where to get a cheap-ish deal on 10gms? (I know the limits 5 but there'll be 2 of us), need a good stash to take to the festival and they have a 5gm limit per person on the way in.

Finally, kind of off topic, but can anyone recommend a half decent restaurant that won't blow my smoking budget? Me and my girlfriend are celebrating and I'd like to think we could manage one civilised night out during the week!!!!

Thanks in advance for any help,

Jay (Leeds, UK)

Birthdays in Dam

Post by smokeybear »

Hi Twitch

You seem to know alot about Dam. I've only been once but am organising a trip for a mates birthday. I wanted to organise a birthday spacecake for her. The perfect place would be friends as she is a big fan of the tv show but not sure if they would do this or not and cannot see a phone number to ask.

Any ideas?
