We’re back!

Apparently the power supply on the server was taken out in a thunderstorm. Peter’s fixed it now.

After a long summer holiday, the forum seems to be finally back on air. I’m at work at the moment so haven’t spoken to Peter (member "slimline") yet. He was planning to move the forum to a new domain (coffeeshopdirect.net) but it seems to have reappeared at the old location. This is great because it means most of the links out there (except the ones I changed) will still work. Thanks Peter.

I changed the links on the main site to coffeeshopdirect.net so, if this is permanent, I’ll change them back again. That means that few people will have found it yet but I see the spammers have already got here (lxtgx from Ghana) :(

More news later probably ...

I’m at home now and it’s a 3-day weekend here in the UK :D . Peter tells me that the forum will be staying at this address so I’ve changed the links on the main site back again.

It’s great to see all you guys again 8) . I’ve really missed you. As DC says, seeing everything as it was in July is like a month-old time capsule. Weird  .

Many thanks to Rez for keeping the vibe alive on his VD forum. I gather he plans on keeping VD going so we now have two parallel forums able to back each other up.

Lemming, I think you and I were cast from a similar mould... I have enjoyed "giving" to all the members... as by setting up ACD and your forum, I'm sure you do too.

Yes Virtual'Dam Forum is here to stay and I would be more than happy for the two forums to run in parallel.

I really don't want to take anything away from you or ACD and therefor would like to suggest to all members that "we" try and keep topics "similar" but not the same... lets see how it goes. I said from the start that I did'nt want to "step on anybody's toes" and that feeling remians.

Hopefully "we" can biuld our global village's to work together in harmony...

busy week ahead for me (3 day weekend and the rest of next week off work with time away with my kids too... ending with a one-nighter in Amsterdam).

Stay cool 8) (not said that for a month)

Great to have the old place back. As people have said, it did feel a lot longer than a month but it's back and I'm back.
