Arrive AMS 29 November depart 06 December.

Rationale: go the week after the Cup. Fewer people, all the good stuff will still be available.

Damn I am glad this forum is back up.

Best regards to all.......

Thanks Lemming and Peter for all your hard work you have definitely earned a good long smoke.

It really does seem like it has been longer than a month and I am not a forum type person anywhere else but I definitely was beginning to miss the vibe from this crowd on ACD.

Hey I recognise this place

A shame to be down for so long but to tell the truth, I really needed a month off from anything Amsterdam and it has been a month to the day since I came back from my last trip.

Good work from Rez for keeping everyone in touch and up to date, I enjoyed reading some posts on the other forum but like I had to focus my attention elswhere for a much needed virtual break.

Will write about my trip shortly now I have some free time although it was more of a relaxing trip as apposed to fit as much in as possible like normal.

Thumbs up to Peter (slimline) for reviving this forum :!:

Ohh, I MISSED this place! I'm a week late, but hey!

And while I appreciate that you're supporting a friend's business by using his hosting, but I couldn't live with myself if I used any other hosting than tier one provider with fully a full redundant power supply. >.>

Just saying.

Just to make it clear – I’m not doing Peter any favours, he’s doing us one. He’s hosting this forum for little or no reward.

The main site is on some free space provided by my old dialup internet service provider, FreeUK. I’ve got broadband now but still maintain the FreeUK account so that I can keep the site there. That space is limited to 25Mb so I have to restrict the pictures and so on. It also doesn’t support any kind of interactive service so can’t be used for the forum.

I’m not aware of any free hosts that support forums without being smothered with adverts so Peter’s service is very generous.
