Ichiro getting four hits on his return to Japan was written.
King Felix looks awesome.
Brendan Ryan is the shit!

Dustin Ackley... Just Dustin Ackley

always good to see baseball games that count back on T.V.

Dustin Ackley has all the makings of a not too distant future all-star

vargas is gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarbage. we're never winning shit with this guy in our rotation. i have no doubt he could be a decent pitcher else ware...just not with us. makes me wonder what the hell wedge and z were thinking putting this guy as our #2 and puting kuma in the bullpen.dudes a #4 or 5 starter at BEST.....i'd have him as a long reliever though.

:D

He actually pitched a gem mate, lol... Bloomin 'pen let him down... Shaun Kelly gave up a two run homer, then Sherril gave up another... Montero got his first hit too....

still gerbage though! :P

admittedly i got up and looked at the box score and assumed he screwed things up haha. mariners are always missing something. only time we didnt was 1995-2001. bur other than that we always either have pitching and no bats, bats and no pitching or pitching and bats but no bullpen. i bet this year we get the bull pen problems back. word up to bobby ayala

i think the cards are in good shape but i dont see them making it to the series again let alone winning it. berkman COULD provide the spark taken away by pujols..but hes streaky as hell and you never know which berkman your going to get. look for the cards to trade for some power at the trade deadline....carlos lee from the astros comes to mind. i see them winning the 2nd wild card spot and playing the brewers or marlins. i see philly or atlanta making it to the world series. especially atlanta if heyward and mccann play to their abilities. my giants could make a run too if they get some power via trade...once again carlos lee is a possibility.the rockies could suprise some teams too if they can hit for power away from the thin air of coors field.

i think the big wild card team this season for the al will be toronto. it all depends on how romero and bautista play though. would be nice to see october baseball at the skydome(refuse to call it rogers centre) again like i did as a kid.

as for the mariners. i see improvement..if wedge gets his head out of his arse and puts kuma in the starting rotation. maybe 75 wins for us if the youngins play well. i swear jack z is best friends with arsene wenger with his philosophy on young talent.

I am wondering if Balou is as excited to see Yu Darvish pitching tonight as I am?
I am also not looking forward to it at the same time.

^ good luck. i think it will be los angeles with their combo of pitching and power that will be the al's rep in the world series.
