What a city that is!Well, here goes my attempt to write up my first travelogue on my first trip to Amsterdam.
WEDNESDAY 23:03:2011
It's 09:55am, I'm sat on my front door step, sun is shinning, not a cloud in the sky. I'm on my third Jack Herrer, waiting for my buddie to pick me up. I hear a car coming round the corner. I jump to my feet, pick up my bag and there he is, Hemlok. Music playing, old skool raver hat on, biggest smile I've ever seen, biff in hand, this is it, we're going!!!
Few biff on way to airport, talking over each other with excitement and we're at Liverpool Airport. Above Us Only Sky, says on one of the posters, I know we're gunna be flying for a few days
Hassle free flight, 60 mins, run to get train ticket, 5 min wait, jump on train, 20 mins and we're in DAM BABY!Speed walk though station, hit the double doors and BOOM! Suns out, not a cloud in the sky, but no Jack Herrer on me either. Ahh wait! I'm in Dam and I can get what I want when I want, awesome! The plan was to walk to check in and then find apartment, unload and hit the CS! Forget that idea bruv, I said. Ive been waiting for this trip for years, get me to a CS asap! And on that, before I knew it, I was in Central! This is weird! People buying weed from a guy in a shop! I knew everything about the G situation over here, but until you see it for the first time, it's strange. ANyhow, Hemlok orders first, as I want him to show me the ropes. With ease, NYD and a coffee please. With his baggy and coffee he heads off for a table. Wait I think, thought you were gunna hold my hand
time to man up chap! Now looking at the board, I didnt feel embarassed or shy, just took a back by the amount of choice. Ive been thinking for months, what will be my first purchase. I even put a thread up on here asking for advise. Yes, can I help you...errr, yeah, errr, can I have, errr, errr, please can I have the...Cheese, please? WTF CHEESE?!? Why CHEESE? Don't know, panic buy I think. Took my seat next to me buddie and we began to roll. Shit! WTF! Has someone switched hands with me at the airport? I couldnt roll a ball never mind a joint! This thing was twisted, bent, creased, you name it, this thing had it. Even struggled to get the roach in! Whats going on. Hemlok, just sat back with his perfectly formed biff and laughed, fair play I thought! Hemlok not impressed with the NYD, said, shall we knock some up for the walk to check in? Yep came my reply. Drinks drank, biffs rolled, said our goodbyes and headed out.Cheese - 5/10 not the best Ive had but not the worst either
NYD - Poor 3/10 this turned out to be the worst smoke of the trip
Central itself is fine, the only thing I didn't like, were the pre weighed baggies, like to see and smell.
Ok, outside Central now and we start to walk. Heading towards check in, I hear, Ayup bruv, look, Voyagers! Now it would have been very rude of us not to pop in as we were in the area. Walked up the steps, through the door and greeted witha big smile, tall, dark haired cockerney fella. Sound bloke. Then again a big smile greeted us at the budcounter. Nice lady budtender. Shop was empty so we took the opportunity to ask the lady if we could see what she had to offer. Man, did she have some things on offer. These are just a few, OG18, Purple Strawberry Bliss, Amnezia, OG18 Sieve, all of which were purchased.

PSB isn't a strong stone, but a top taste and smell, great for daytime walks etc. Amnezia was probably the stickiest of the trip. Strong smell and taste, stong stone too. OG18 was awesome, loved this stuff. OG18 Sieve, this should be called OMG18 Sieve. This stuff was awesome too, soft powder, like talc! Voyagers itself needs a lick of paint, it's just an old building, its not dirty just old. Anyhow, I feckin love this place. The weed is top draw and the owners are top draw too. What more could you ask for? Big ayup to HB, Danny, Gabby and HB's missus, sorry forgot your name. This place became our regular for breakfast and supper. Awesome
After smoking a few biffs, we decide we best get the keys as we aint ever gunna find the place baked! Again, made a few for the walk, said our fairwells and see you in the morning
We managed to find the check in, which by the way was down by Club Media and walked back in the direction of our apartment. Now, our apartment was up by the Nemo building, if anyone know the distance, please let me know, as we kinda walked that sort of distance (maybe more) every day, cheers.
Room sound, clean, everything in it we need. Bags dropped off, money in pockets, biffs made, lets go...
After walking around for a time, we decided to hit 420, as it was quiet. This place reminds me of Cheers off the TV. I know the bar isnt in the middle of the room, not sure what it is, maybe the wood and lighting, I dont know. It's busy, only 2 seats left are at the side of the bar by the window. We unload our kit, order the drinks and make the brief walk to the budtender. Tall guy with dark curly hair, stubble and a smile! Havent come across an unfriendly person yet. He tells me the 420 Kush is good at the mo, so I grab a gram (e13 i think), Hemlok goes for the Nevs Haze. Sat back at the bar, I begin to roll. This time, with ease. Not sure what the fuck happened in Central??? We sit and smoke, talk and drink. I hear myself telling my buddie this 420 Kush IS nice. Realising I'd rolled the lot, I go and grab another gram. Sat happliy, smoking and rolling, I notice the bar lady keep looking my way. No she doesn't fancy me I thought, she looks more concerned. She turns and starts talking to the budtender. I begin to worry. Have I done something wrong? Ive been good, said my p's and q's. The budtender starts to walk over our way. I mention all this to Hemlok, who just laughs. You havent done anything wrong mate, theyre just checking up on you. It's probably something to do with you buying a gram and smoking it in 3 biffs and then buying another gram. They're just waiting for you to fall off ya stool! Pheeeew, I'm ok! I forgot they do that, nice touch, once I got past the parra pmsl. When I was getting my second bag of Kush I saw thay had PV Creme on the menu, so grabbed a gram of that for me buddie. We noticed a guy at the bar asking for towels and a bucket! Oh dear! Few mins later and this guy appears like a Pheonix from the flames, in a Jesus on the cross likey stance but with his head between his knees and mates under each arm. I'M FALLING I'M FALLING is all you could hear over the music and folk chatting. Sorry, but I couldn't help it! Laughter built up, couldnt breath, having to bite inside my lip. Wasn't sure how folk reacted to whiteys over here. Us lot just laugh, as we havent seen one in years over here. I decide to take my eyes off the patient and fix em on his mate walking behind with a bottle of coke. Bad move! He was in a worse state than me. Bright purple head, cheecks about to exploded! Bhhaaaaaahhhhaaaaaaaahhhhhaaaa, came rushing out of my mouth. A voice somewhere in the distance behind me said, i'ts not funny, that could be you, could be any of us. Fucking funniest thing Ive seen since Ive been here I thought! And it wont be me, havent had a whitey in over 20 years. Know ya limits, thats all it is, simples! Time was knocking on and we wanted to get to a CS nearer to base camp. Made biffs for the walk said our farewells and headed out.

Guess who we met outside? Yep, I'M FALLING man, in a bad way. His mates didnt look like they knew what to do, so we offered help. I may have laughed at him in there, but we were the only ones helping him outhere! So to whoever it was having a pop, ner ner ne ner ner!
Smoking and walking we ended up at Greenplace. Quiet, but it was 12 on a Wednseday night. Budtender greeted us with a grunt. Shame, 1st one of the day, oh well. I got 1g Twizzla e14 and me buddie got 1g Candy Kush e13. Cant remember much about these as we had been on it for some time now. They couldnt have bee all bad as i left me hat
only note says, not brill for price.Well that was day one folks, hope you enjoyed reading as much as I did doing. Pictures and other days to follow. We dont get a tram anywhere, we walk everywhere, we thought we could smoke more that way

09:00 Washed and dressed, biffs made, we make our way to Voyagers for breakfast. Lovely morning, sun out, slight breeze, top walk to breakfast. Up the steps, through the door and a big warm Morning greeted us. HB working the counter this morning. Morning fella and what a wonderful morning it is! Brief chat, HB shows me the King Kong. The buds look awesome, the biggest of the trip IMHO, 1g and a 7up please. Thats my breakfast sorted! Hemlok goes for the Chocolope and Coffee. Rolling our purchases, we chat to HB about strains etc...nice chap, they're all good guys at Voyagers (this place is starting to grow on me big time). The KK was nice, broke in to a soft talc like fluff. Smooth, tastes great, nice stone too 8/10. Chocolope had a fantastic smell, smooth again, Voyagers know how to dry/cure stuff properly! 7/10
Biffs made for the walk, we head off out, we didn't have a plan of attack, well we did, but that went out the window on the plane pmsl! We decide to try Kadinsky.
Kadinsky, fly buy, small gaff, reminded me of a burger bar kinda place.

We decide to hit 420 again as we had such a good night in there. Different bud tender and bar tender, shame, wanted to build a relationships weith budtnders where poss. Anyhow, got our places, drinks ordered and off we go to buy our wares. Hemlok goes for 1g NYD (hoping it's better than Centrals), I go for 1g of the 420 Kush (this becomes a bit of a regular thing)
This time, we sit in the window, people watching, this is a good spot, as I read on others travelogues, the frosted vinyl sticker across the window is great for masking your face whilst looking a ladys bottoms walking past. As we have bit of various weeds from various shops, I decide to bash a cocktail cone together, think it consisted of, Cheese, Amnesia, NYD, Kush and a couple of others that didnt have names on the bags and we couldnt remember, not sure why like 
Hemlok decides it's time for a vape bag. NYD in vape, mmmmm thats better, get the grapefruit taste hitting the back of the throat. Pheeew, Hemloks happy the NYD is better here. Blast a few more vapes, Purple Strawberry Bliss (Purple Stinky Bitch), tastes awesome through a vape...notes say "TASTY" NYD, better taste than Central, not a strong stone, nice all the same 7/10. I notice they have bongs here too. I havent done a bong in years. Fancy a bong I ask? Hemloks back at the table with it before I could move! PSB in bong, I take the first hit, fuck me!!! Now I remember why I havent done a bong in a long time. Cough, cough, cough...only time of the trip tho, must of cleaned me out proper! Slighlty movining in the right direction now, Hemlok says, Dwannna hnnnawwa a blokkkke abouta wwwwnnnda mmmmmoooooth mmmooooooog? E/, WTF did you just say? Do you want to hear a joke about a wide mouth frog? Ha Ha, the effects are working Mr Bond. On this, we decide to move on and do a fly buy at Grey Area. We wanted to chill here for a while but the place was busy. 1g Casey Jones for me and 1g LA Con for Hemlok. The buds looked good and smelt great. We didnt smoke these until later. Decided to pop into Greenplace. 1g of Blueberry Haze for me and 1g Train Wreck for Hemlok. The blueberry Haze only made 3 joints, 2 good size ones and a kinda last bit out of the baggy size one. Didnt think much to this, harsh on throat and nose, I pass the unsmoked biffs to me buddie, he'll do em in! 4/10I dont have any notes on Train Wreck, sorry. I'll ask Hemlok to put something up on all the strains he bought.
Hemlok's cousin lives in Amsterdam, she has a womens boutique, very nice gaff too! He's been in contact with her over the past few days to arrange for us to meet. Once the plan was sorted, we met up in Kadinsky (not the small one we buy and fly from previously), 1g Bubblegum for me and 1g Powerplant for Hemlok. I really enjoyed the afternoon in here. Cool pad, 3 floors, cool bud tender. I remember sitting there and thinking, yeah, this is the life. Face hurting from constant smilling, everyone chilled. We had been smoking since 4am Wednesday morning, it was now around 5pm Thursday, I was becoming very stoned now. Nice. We offer Hemloks cousin all our purchases, after 10 mins of debate, she decides to try the Bubblegum, good choice me thinks. All 3 off us, just sat, talking, putting the world to right, having a good ol time. Sorry, notes get a little vague from here on in. Bubblegum, nice smoke, mong stone 8/10.
Hemloks counsin annouces she has to leave. Goodbyes said, we head off back to apartment for a freshen up. Having smoked all the way back home, I led on bed for rest and nodded off around 8pm. Oi, Oi, it's fucking 10 o'clock! Shyte! Are we staying in now or dya fancy hitting the city?
CS Resin
We couldn't stay in, even if we did have bags and bags. We came to smoke as many different strains as possible. 1g Desert Eagle for Hemlok and 1g of Choco Cheese for me. This place is smart. The only down side, when looking at the weed in the tubs, the light in the area is green, so. Anyway, the walls have digital printed images of trees, makes you feel in the middle of the jungle/rain forrest. Cool shaped wall sofas and wait for it...Swings, you can sit and swing away happily. We decide to have another look at the menu and purchase another gram of Desert Eagle for me and Hemlok goes for the wonderful Resin Gold (water hash) 1g e30'ish. This stuff looked like small black balls, very strong. 2 London lads were in smoking the Gold, they come to Dam a lot and said that the Gold was the best hash in town. We will agree to disagree on this one. Good hash tho. 9/10
As time was now knocking on, we want to get to a CS nearer to home. Voyagers it is then...wait, they close at 12
so we end up at Greenhouse Effect.This place is like a corridor type room. Sound bud tender, until he shouted at the top of his voice, no cigarettes and no communication devices at a young blonde lady/women/girl...made me feckin jump! 1g White Widow for me and 1g GH Special for Hemlok. We were both having a fantastic time, only problem was, we didn't know which weed was doing what anymore
but we're more than happy with the effects both purchases in here were of ok quality. One thing, we both prefer the CS outside the centre...better deals and better quality we thinks. Notes just say, I can't remember being backed for such a long period of time. Yeah, the odd weekend in summer having BBQ's etc, hours at parties, but never 2 full days, with only stopping for food or a kip. Even smoked whilst we walked

fuckin hell I think, they cant be real! As my eyes start to rise and look towards her face...oh man! is that a man i ask H? Not sure pal! She's got a better jaw line than me and an adams apple. Nothing agaisnt her/him...each to there own, it just shocked me thats all. Afetr looking around the RLD H suggests why not try a CS not on our list! Okydoky! We walk around the centre, past babas a few times, verdampers in the window keep winking at me...H, how about this one? Twilight Zone? I say. Yep, come on. lets try it, need a drink a biff and a bit of a rest! Only one other chap in, H goes to the counter, I grab the window bench and unpack our kit! Dont know why I didnt go and have a look hmmmmmm! H comes back with the drinks and 1g, no wait, 2g of Santamaria. 2g's bud? Yeah, dont do 1g's! Straight away my mind starts to work. Shop empty, only do 2g baggies? Hmmmm, pass me the bag bruv. Green baggie, gree lighting, couldnt get a real good look. Hardly any smell...not going to waste anymore of your time on this...twaz SHYTE!!!! I know I said the NYD was the worst of the trip, well sorry, this was! Not happy with the green here, I decide it's time we went somewhere we liked, with good G!
