Always knew what friends meant without looking at this thread, but what a brilliant option foe is, I've seen and used this on other forums but it's basically called ignore.. It's good to see where moving on in ACD with this option and I should browse the site more often rather than stick to threads I'm used to

I use foe for people who's gibberish I can't understand. I don't care about their views or whether they're assholes or not, I just can't be bothered with bad grammar, spelling, etc., mind I ain't perfect.

I've used it once in this particular forum for that vey reason too, unfortunately.

I used to belong to the Hip-Forums (Amsterdam section) about 10 or 11 years ago and they introduced this button there. Although it's ostracizing others, it soon got the point over to those members who spouted utter incoherent dribble or there to simply troll. It's a real pain reading badly written English of those who don't even try to at least place a full stop, comma in the right place or those who spell words how they sound as opposed to how they should be spelt. I'm not being a git or pedantic, it's just annoying to read and fathom out and I've got no time for it, so yes, I've used it once in this forum.

What if there was an option to ignore only posts that were grammatically incoherent? That way if someone is having an off night, they don't get slapped with the Foe-for-Life syndrome.

Of course there are people who's grammar, spelling, etc. aren't so great, but I love reading their posts anyways. So I'm fine with making the call to foe or not myself. I've only done this to two people...so far.

Where does this blatant stereotype of 'bad teeth' come from? I know for a fact that my dental hygiene is second to none, the same goes for my family and close friends. Every time I go into an Xbox lobby with American/Aanadian teenagers it's all "get outta here you yellow toothed wanka!" said in a bad Australian accent.
