Almost correct, get off at the Albert Cuypstraat. If you need directions using public transit for anything else use this website http://journeyplanner.9292.nl/

Yea, best to get off at Albert Cuuypstraat, trams 24 and 25 also go here :-) Media is on the road just before the market that runs parallel to it :-)

I am a great one for getting lost when stoned, but do know this area well. When you get off the tram at Albert Cuyp, walk back to the main road in the direction the tram came from. When on the main road, which is Ferdinand Bolstraat, cross over and Gerard Doustraat is the first street you come to. Turn right and Club Media is about 200 Metres away. Some great weed in there btw and some good hash too.

Not quite. Walk back to the main road, Ferdinand Bolstraat, and you will see the 16 and 24 tram stop there going back towards the Dam area. Or you could walk up F. Bolstraat towards the direction of the Dam, and you will come to the Heineken Building roundabout. Walk straight over into Vijzelgracht-straat and you will come to the Mellow Yellow c/s (its about a 10 minute walk). Have a joint in there and from outside the Mellow you can get tram 16, 24 or 25 to the Dam area.
