Although I had my little revenge the next day when I fell asleep (after Bubble-Kush(after 15 beers in my room)) on their video game and have vomited all over, i say that this coffeeshop is fuckin hole.

Getting wrecked is the best policy.

Your going to have a whitey one day so why not make it happen in the Dam!!

If you got friends around you will be fine, They don't last for long anyway but just sit back and enjoy it.

My first and only one happened at a party in a flat pulling the thickest creamy bucket I had ever seen, Honestly the smoke was like Smog :x

I knew I was being watched and didn't pussy out, Deep breath and here we go...... Sure I coughed for England and dam did I go white and couldn't move. Pinned to a Chair for 5 mins and couldn't move. Then decided to be sick :x .

Had a cup of tea and felt fine, well still stoned but I didn't look like a ghost.

I took a boat ride here once and the guide said they find a few tourists each year drowned in the canal, according to her often British men with their pants around their ankles (don't shoot the messenger).

My twopennies worth would be, to avoid a whitey, have a good meal inside you,you are carrying a sugary drink with you, which is a very good idea, but if you start to feel a whitey come on it can take a while for you [a] to remember to drink it and it can still take a while for the effects to wear off after consuming something sugary for it to work, most important thing is don't panic even though you think you are going to die,try and avoid alcohol until you are happy with your weed tolerance.Fresh air does help as well but don't go wandering offstay put if you are in a coffeeshop stay put someone will help you out, especially the budtenders.

If you are concerned re a whitey ' maybe' a pipe or bong may not be the choice of first smoke, you suggest you can't role very well there is always someone in a coffeeshop who will be willing to help you out,and a joint is easier to handle smoke a half or a quarter of it and then put it down and see what the effect is,it easier to add than take away.

You can also buy cones in most of the headshops [many people do],just pack it with your weed and enjoy slowly re above.

There are various rolling machines you can buy, heres a link for one, http://www.uktobacco.com/acatalog/Tobac ... nes_1.html

I would suggest that you check out no 5 in that list, ie the cigarette tube filling machine, and buy the cigarette tubes just below it[you can practice at home before going with some tobacco to get the hang of it,and it is quite easy, heres a link showing how to use the tube machine,

if you cant eat it drink it smoke it or snort it then feck it it mad sweeney

If you are not a regular smoker you only really need to beware the '' first smoke '' paranoid whitey, so take it easy on that first blast--build a joint with a reasonable amount in--not a bloody matress--dont smoke pure as you first joint-----once this pleasant stone has passed go for it--your body will acclimatise with each joint-----if you do feel a bit paranoid I advise a leisurly stroll along the canals, taking it easy--getting to know the sounds of the city and chilling out--after as little as a half hour of this you will slip into the Amsterdam dimension which is something like the twilight zone--you donr really know where you are just wandering around, who cares--every now and then you see something you recognise and your back on track----just get stoned and dont panic about times places locations--slip into the zone

This is a bit offtopic, but tpelling were you ever a member of a forum called introspectives.org? I recognise your avatar that's all.

We're in the same boat RE both being relative noobs, shame we're not going to be there at the same time :)
