Wow that's amazing!! I've always wanted to see the Northern Lights!! I am just trying to figure how San Fran - Charles de Gaulle crosses the arctic?? :shock: :lol:

trans continental flights to europe from the west coast or to asia from the east coast frequently take the great circle route over the artic. a flight from say nyc to thailand, china, etc may even fly as north as the north pole itself.
