Well done DC for getting the kit and finding out your clean. Very good feeling when you have tried so hard. I know the feeling.

Hope all goes ok with the pilot licence. You never know maybe one day you might touchdown in Pompey and gimmie a lift to the dam.

Well done, now put that joint down and get 'yer' nose back into those books!. :D

Cheers Dan, however the very good feeling was very short lived. The Dutch being...erm the Dutch and true to their own particular ways. Can train ya to fly any sort of aircraft in English.....except a helicopter!. Yet, in training to fly a helicopter...Dutch speakers need to learn English to take it off the ground. Not to mention they're charging near double what anybody else is. So, although I could still do it this year by giving my boss a heart attack and taking 6 weeks leave, I'm now thinking of putting it off for a year and going to the good ol U S of A (To get a european license) in 2012 and doing it there instead. Which might not actually be a bad thing, because after a bit more research, it sounds like it was the better option anyway. Not just for price but also in regards to quality of school. S'pose It'll give me some time to learn all the theory side before I even start. Plus, If I somehow manage to save all I can, rob a bank, find a 2nd job, win the lotto, strike oil, get adopted by Steven Spielberg, sell everything I own including my non existant soul to a non existant devil and a kidney to the NHS. There's a 9 month long course there that would fill me boots with everything I needed to learn Helicopter wise. To the point where'd I'd come out with a private license, commercial license, mountain, external load, instrument rating, commercial instructor, instrument instructor and over 150 hrs worth of flight time. Realistically, that's more like 2013 but then it's only a hop, skip and jump away from an actual paying job. It would fookin need to be too, because I'd be jumping out of one life and into another, head first!. ..hmmm.. For some reason it didn't sound so scary 20, or even 10 years ago.

Cisco, a pilot's license for planes is actually cheaper to do..though no so much so, that it's actually cheap. Plus it doesn't sound like 'yer' up for quitting the weed, just yet!?!

@DC....How long will it take for you to learn the Queens English in order to enrol in this?

Had to be said...sorry. 8)
If I don't see you no more in this world, I'll meet you on the next one.
