I hope hey will let the people grow their own instead of the shop-only system which most us states do

I thought anyone with a license could grow their own in the US as long as some of what they grow goes to the dispensaries?

no anyone w/ a license can grow here . only thing it depends on state wise is how many plants you can have in flower. here in washington i can have 15 plants in flower. california is like 20-25. colorado is similar as is oregon. not sure about michigan.

Here in Mich. we can have 12 flowering.. And here in Mich. as I believe with most other MMJ states you can have a "caregiver" grow for you or you can opt to grow your own. And none of what you grow "has" to go to a dispensary.

Illinios upcoming medical marijuana program will not allow home growing, all "medicine" will be obtained from a state regulated dispensaries with state regulated growers. so far illinios will have one of the strictest programs in the country, if they ever actually allow it

they will have to change things if the gov wants to get its way. they are trying to get rid of all dispenseries/coops weather they be profit or non profit.
