quick stop to coffeeshop

on my way to africa, i have a 4 hour layover in the dam between flights. would it be easy to head into town for a puff? any probs with customs e.t.c. thanks

Four hours is not really enough time to go into the city. You would need to be at the airport 2 hours before your flight leaves. It takes 40 minutes round trip by train. Plus going through passport control would leave you less than a hour in town.

If it is between flights would your baggage not be checked through to your flight? Not need for you to be there that early?
I'd give it a go....worth it to try. :shock: :lol: :lol: 8)

it is between flights and i wont have any bags with me, so customs shouldnt be a problem. i mite just give it a go. :

Where are you flying to? You would still have to come through customs to leave the airport and it can slow you down a bit. Just don't be like me and almost miss your flight because you wanted a smoke. I had to run all the way from check in, to the gate and they had to open security back up for me. If you do go into town make it a buy and fly.
