Thai weed

Post by Billy70 »

ACD Page: Thai

Hi all, first time poster, first time in the Dam

Just wondering what everyone's recommendations are for a good daytime smoke? Have not been able to buy weed in the uk for a while, is there much in Dam or is it mainly bud?

Was planning on doing a bit of sightseeing on my tod during the day (my flight arrives early in the morning) so obviously don't want to get too blazed first thing. My hostel's at the station end of spuistraat.

Thanks in advance, Billy.

P.S. Sorry posted the original in coffeeshop review section by mistake :S

What is the difference between weed and bud??? :D

Generally thai here is brick weed, total crap. Smokeable if you are in the UK, but don't waste your time on it here.

When I don't want to get to blazed, I look for an outdoor strain (Thai is outdoor too).

My UK weed would make you a 2 toke joke instead of your usual 3.

Can anyone else remember when Thai weed was good? Back in the days when skunk was just a myth!!!

Thai weed
Rum and raisin
Mango weed
All yummy
Wouldnt touch the sides now though me thinks :D

If your not a regular smoker then a bit of Thai to start with would be fine but don't expect a taste sensation!! You'll get mildly high though, which I think is what you want !

Yes for sure. When kids like Boner were not yet having boners, Thai weed was considered quite decent, especially when compared to Mexi-brick or West Virginia weed. I am sure some of the stuff here is decent, but why bother?

I am making the assumption that the weed market in the UK is similar to other countries where there are no coffeeshops, in other words, often times one has to settle for something like Thai brick. My point being, why do that in the Dam.

I am guessing this a bit based on topics like this one with 38 pages and counting.

Hang on a minute!
It's their prerogative if they want to smoke Thai or specifically travel to A'dam and only want to smoke Thai!

At least Thai weed is better than smoking soap bar made with ghee that you see in abundance in the UK, but apart from this, I do sense an air of arrogance sometimes with your posts Marco, call me wrong, but I do.

Agree with both of these statements.

To get back to the OP, quiky does some reporting on outdoor strains that may be of interest to you.

LOL, really? Do you care that much? FFS, its a messageboard, not Parliament. My point is, why smoke low-grade weed when in Amsterdam or California? My example of using the UK was only because the OP is from there. If he was from the US, I would say the same thing: for a mellow smoke, you can do much better than Thai brick.

Some of you people can be a bit sensitive at times, reading loads into shit that simply isn't there.
