im not a concert goer really, as im not into 'bands' or guitar music at all. ive been to countless raves and clubs though, so it has to be a great band for me to want to go to a live concert.

in live concert format ive only seen:

'lemon jelly' in london
'massive attack' in westerpark, amsterdam

but both of those were aaaamazing

I don't know why I put Frankie Goes to Hollywood in the list, it was more of a novelty. Not a great show nor a cool band. Emos is a great venue BTW.

Been to well over 80 shows, mostly in the late 70s thru the 80s, then slowed down a lot.

Mostly hard rock and heavy metal, from AC/DC and Aerosmith to Frank Zappa and ZZ Top. Throw in there Roger Waters, Neil Young and Crazyhorse, Spyro Gyra, R.E.M., Weezer, The Who, Black Crowes, Boston, Van Hagar, Sammy Hagar, Grateful Dead, Jackson Browne, Ozzy Osbourne, Todd Rundgren, Journey, Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers, Ronnie James Dio, Dire Straits, Def Leppard, Twisted Sister, Quiet Riot, Queensryche, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Scorpions, Accept, Triumph, Rush, Ted Nugent, Madonna...

Fuck...can't remember them all, and left out a lot of good names.

Lately, I've caught Michael Schenker Group in 2009, CAKE twice this year, and Mr. Speed, the KISS tribute band twice this month.

Pink Floyd - Many times over the last two tours. ( And yes, both Waters and Gilmour solo shows)

Jeff Beck - Amazing show after the Guitar Shop album release. Double bill with...

Stevie Ray Vaughan - who I managed to catch several times over the years.

U2 - that Zoo TV tour was very cool, really became a fan after seeing that show.

Santana - A great great great show to catch live.
There must have been a door there in the wall when I came in.
