Were standout gigs but first prize goes to Oscar Peterson and Ella Fitzgerald on the same stage with Dizzy jamming in. Of all places this was The Newport Jazz Festival held in 1978 at Ayresome Park, Middlesborough. Superb.

err I saw Madness in Vegas and it was great fun. Crowd loved it! Also the B-52's in a pool at a big casino on the strip. It was great fun. Everyone wearing swimming gear in and out and around the water on a hot summers night.
