I liken White Widow to the song Stairway to Heaven - really played out. Along with 'orangebud' and 'Jack Herer', WW is a classic which while still good, has been far surpassed by subsequent strains. I very rarely go for the 'lower tier' strains on the menus, unless the dealer recommends it. Go for the house specials first, I say.

Best WW i've had was in the uk.

Whenever i see white widow in the dam it's usually got no smell other than that bland smell all commercial dutch seems to have. Sure it's probably quite strong but i bet it tastes how it smells...like nothing.

Try the Black Widow at Katsu, chances are it's the only proper White Widow about.

We had some great White widow from Coffeeshop 36 in July last year, been back a cpl of times since but it just wasn't the same. Going again this Saturday and hoping to find some nice stuff, any ideas where to find it? Also what do others recommend at the mo?

The White Widow from Empire in Haarlem ( 1.8grams for 12eu ) is like an alien life form compared to some of the schwaggy Widow we saw and sampled all over Amsterdam.
Trust me when i say, for 7eu return you can take a train to Haarlem and avoid worrying about buying shitty weed.
