Sig images

Hi ya,

Just tried to put an image up for my sig and it's not working. If I try the image upload (browse button) it comes up with a load of PHP permission errors. I also tried to upload from a URL but it just brings up a broken image. Is there a problem or am I being a muppet and missing something.

are you trying to make you avatar pic (the pic under your name) or a signature pic (bottom of the actual post)??

it might be slightly large for the avatar, but that should give you an error saying its too big

and i think the signature pic option is not turned on currently......

you best bet would be to PM Lemming or Slimline, either of them should be able to help you.

I have the same "erroe" messages come up since the re-launch... only when trying to upload or supply a host address for my Avatar.

I do recall lemming asking for images not to be used in signatures at some point a while back (if my memory serves me right - but hey, a stoner's memory is just about the worst memory to have)... what was the question

Looks like a permissions problem, I'll send an IM to lemming. Oh and yep I'm trying to upload an avatar, not that worried about a sig.

Peter says he’s fixed permissions. Please try again and let me or Peter (“slimline”) know.

Forum a bit slow this weekend. Server maintenance apparently. Should be better soon.

I seem to be having that problem as well. I tried from my computer and was denied earlier. I have just trier from url and message came up profile chaned but still no avatar...........
