actually ,cisco, not necessarily. i have been routinely tested and test myself. i went to the dam for 5 days recently. i smoked every day . not only did i smoke every day but i smoked the usual amsterdam unecessary amounts. you know 20 bong hits a day with joints and bowls. just smoking to be smoking. going to coffeeshops and buying 4 different grams a day .giving some away. accepting offers to smoke others' weed. in other words probably smoking more than the average bear. i went back to work 13 days later. before going i tested myself and was not pleased with the light line in the test area. i hydrated moderately and got a more solid line. i am a big guy. somewhat athletic but could probably look like top flight athlete if i lost 20 lbs. i am not a 20 something so i am a bit older. usually these characteristics(extra fat and older) are not helpful in passing a drug test. someone who smokes a less insane amount could probably pass in 2 weeks no problem. i have passed a test in 3 days when i just smoked a few bong hits. the at work cup test is the same sophistication as the ones i test myself with. the test i passed after 3 days was a lab test at the clinic. there was an article in high times awhile back that explained that one can pass the standard pee test much quicker than thought. can it take 6 weeks to clear? sure . but that is the big exception not the rule. since cat does not chronically smoke everyday she can get away with more than the chronic daily smoker. for the record before i went to amsterdam for those 5 days i had not smoked much in the previous six months( probably 4 or 5 times. few bong hits(bong loads as my friends from sf would say) each time. in summary the article i read said most chronic smokers would test negative on the 50 ncl (?) cutoff test after 10 days
I have heard similair stories. Everyones different. Iknow for a fact that when my husband got tested regularly at the job, we went on a week camping trip with a bunch of dead heads in the blueridge mountains. We smoked like morning till night every day except the day we drove home. He went back to work 2 days later, got popped and still passed. We were sweating it out. lol.

I think these are exceptions rather than the rule ? Unless you actively try detox yourself (plenty liquids etc) cannabis CAN be found in your system , I believe the medical opinion is it CAN be detected in yer system for UP TO 6 weeks ?

I have worked as a drug worker in the past so have some experience in testing etc

But............................as you say everyone is different and physiology varies

As for being unconstitutional, I agree wholeheartedly. A gf I went to high school with was telling me about a hair test she was going to have to take for a new job (she's also an RN) and not only the testing but no cigarettes even off duty! They told her if she ever comes to work smelling like them she'd be fired... unbelievable. completely agree(except the god thing or karma deal) . the government should leave me alone unless i am DIRECTLY infringing on the rights of others. however, i do not think ron paul stands a chance. i actually wish he did but he probably won't. i would have to sell my precious metals , however, because he might actually make the buck worth something again.(although, against all intuition we may just get deflation, yet. watch out!)

Hi IG. Some of the places I am applying do not allow cig smoking at all. Even at home. Times are changing fast for the cig industry.

Its not legal in Amsterdam. Regardless, that won't have an impact on what happens when you get home if its illegal there.

I read people from the UK got arrested after coming back from helping relatives 'die with dignity' in Switzerland (looked into it for my dad).
