Any Date set on the Weed Tourism Ban?

Post by toonz »

New guy here trying to plan his first trip over.
I am hoping to get there before the ban on selling to tourists takes effect.
Does anyone have any new info on a timeframe?

There's no exact date as yet..

So far as I can make out, the law is now passed and they aim to start closing shops by the end of this year. However with so much opposition from various city officials it's not going to happen in Amsterdam till at least next year (if ever)

Quote from Reuters ..

"The policy will roll out in the southern provinces of Limburg, Noord Brabant and Zeeland by the end of the year and the rest of the country next year, the spokesman said"

On a personal note, I try to remain optimistic after all without Amsterdam where would I have our annual weed mates reunion? LOL

Thanks for the info dude.
I am figuring I may be safe if I get there in like December.
I would go sooner, but get off from work.

I don't drink alcohol and I respect others and behave myself in Amsterdam just like I do at home. I just go there to smoke pot and the atmosphere. They should welcome drug tourists like me. Alcohol is the problem. When will people realize this?

And how much money will Holland lose once this ban goes into effect? I damn sure won't come there every year to see the tulips. We have those here. They will lose MILLIONS of $$$$$$

Oh yes my friends it is the tardis.

Gotta say my favourite doctor of new who is Christoper Eccleston i did like tennant but i found i'd had enough of him buy the end of his run

Matt smith is cool a bit childish but there is something about him.

I never watched classic who  so i cant say who was my favourite out of them. Would love to catch some older ones tho.

i suggest the "keys to time" episodes. think it is called that. it is like 5 or 6 episodes ..also remember i liked the episode when the doctor pushes sutek's shit in. if i remember the daleks were in that one .. watched some of pertwee but thought baker was in a different league. also, interesting fact that most dr who fans probably know. the woman who played his sidekick after keys to time episodes is married to richard dawkins. great book "god delusion"
