30 August till 1 Sept - Picture time!

Post by Vadim »

OK all, after a quick 2 days in May, I am back from 30 August till 1 Sept. This time I will take my digital slr and macro lens....Yep great pics of buds...

When I buy I like to buy big succulent buds.....So to enable me to take the best snaps of the few best buds I will need a list of shops that has succulent big buds that will blow my brains and body.

I will be staying near Basjoe's this time so will be targeting shops near there.....So what is the top 4 of sativa and yes folks this time I am doing indica so will need the top 4 indica's as well...

Pics will be posted of these big dirty buds and I will do my best to include smoking pics(Bong of course!)....

So what's the list I will target and where???

Cheers

You have been posted on the August and September Whos In Town pages.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/membe ... le&u=62745

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

While you are taking pictures ask and take menu pictures and email them to
CoffeeshopMenus@gmail.com.

Have you even looked around the forum? There are several threads that answer your questions, not to mention the trip reports.

Hi Balou,

I spend a lot of time on the forum reading strains and trip reports.....In fact before I head to the Dam I target what I want from the research conducted on this forum (Thanks to all that contribute you are super) as any input is good input IMO. We can choose what is crud and what isn't personally. The fact is that strains change due to various factros including growing conditions, time since harvest etc.....hence my email....

It is no problem to me to go to the Dam take pics and not post them. However I would've thought that this would be interesting for some/most readers. Happy to stand down, don't contribute, just lurk and then use the forum ip to enjoy myself in the Dam but I don't think that is what lists and pot are about myself.

I see lists and pot as a way to share information and enjoyment. Posting comments like "Have you even looked around the forum?", IOM portrays you as some smartarsed know it all rather than being being a cool relaxed pot smoking helpful dude that ppl who know and understand this drug, it's origins and history should be!

Peace!

Anyone you ask that I have met on this forum will tell you I'm very laid back. Someone comes along every week and expects the forum to list all the strains for them to smoke on their upcoming trip. I have not been to A'dam in a year and just by reading the forum I know what's good at the moment. You're reading into it too much. It's not like the links I posted didn't answer some of your questions, eh? BTW putting an exclamation after the word peace completely changed the connotation.

Peace

Hi Balou,

Thanks for the reply. Honestly, I don't expect anything was just asking the ACD'ers for advice to enable some nice pics, as there is a wealth of knowledge and experience on the list 8) 8) . As I said strains vary depending on many factors. In fact one thing I probably did do was send this post a wee bit early (Just a tad excited that I can go back to the dam within a few months of my last visit) as I still have to wait another 6 harrowing weeks before I am back in the Dam   . I suspect strains and varieties may well change in that time as may the best place to obtain what I am after.

I had read through 2 of those 3 links before and certainly before I was in the Dam in May I did a huge amount of research so I could target the weed and the coffee shop I wanted to obtain and smoke from.

I agree the exclamation mark after peace totally changed the connotation that was due to the tone of your "Have you even looked around the forum?". Such a comment is condocending and not really necessary.

Anyways, thanks for the links, however I will be sure to ask the same question in a few weeks if my research doesn't find what I am after and I do hope that I can take some wonderful pictures of large sticky quality buds.

Cheers
