Post by kenabiss »

Can anyone list any great comedy films to watch, classic or new. Bored at home and need to kill time.

Can't beat some of the old classics for me! "Marxs" brothers, "Laurel and Hardy", but it really depends on your sense of homour "Kenabiss"..... How about, for me, a classic stoners movie, "Darkstar". It reduces me to tears each time i watch it!!
"Animal house".... you'll see something new to laugh at everytime you watch it.... another classic!
You could watch episodes on "Youtube" of many very well written comedy shows like, "Raising Damp", "Porridge", "Faulty Towers", "Red Dwarf" etc... Hope this helps put a smile on your face :) :) :) Chill-out, spark one up and laugh away yer' woes!!  8) 8)

OK it sounds like a chick flick but isnt at all. Bridesmaids kept me laughing up there with the hangover and such. Not a chick flick at all, just funny.

Superb call Artymac 8) 8) 8)

I havent thought of this film in a long, long, long time.
Saw it first when i was about fourteen and it blew me away.

I remember it came out during the same era as "Silent Running" and Hal, but Darkstar evokes a special kind of mood that I have never experienced in any other film. I agree with you, its both funny (especially the final scene with his pet !) and deeply moving.
