I started to wonder if any of you guys over there do this? It would be a load easier from that side of the ocean, if you are so inclined....

"Slipping" away to AMS?
My buddy has come for the last couple of trips to AMS and has gotten HUGE shit from his wife upon both returns. Next year, he is planning to tell the wife that he is going out of town for work for a couple of days, maybe a week, and nipping over for 4-5 days.
I started to wonder if any of you guys over there do this? It would be a load easier from that side of the ocean, if you are so inclined....

If I don't see you no more in this world, I'll meet you on the next one.

I'll give the female view....
Your friend would have to be a smart cookie to pass this off & if his wife finds out, well, put it this way, if my man did it to me I'd cut his balls off
ok so I'm kidding, but the point is if gets found out he will get mega shit....

Confusing. Why does she 'allow' the trip, yet unload on him upon return? Mega mind-fuck.
Sounds like trust and/or jealousy issues.

Tricky one "Trad"!!, you don't want to be in the firing line yourself!! .... as "Rufus" said, could be a lot of damage, including the collateral kind!! (unless you don't like her!!
)
Em... how does good luck sound!!
.... i hear "Kevlar" is easy to come by in "Canada"...

Re: "Slipping" away to AMS?
I for one don't have to slip away to anywhere. If I want to go somewhere, I go. If my significant other doesn't like it, she can state so and move on (or out)
Just kidding about the out bit, maybe.
Seriously, I wouldn't be in a relationship with someone if I had to lie about where I go, who my friends are, etc... I've known a few people who had friends that they didn't tell their significant other about because of trust issues (having friends of the opposite sex, etc..). Too much drama!!!
If I were to say one thing to this person, it would be that it might be time to move on...
Nothing happy about lying, especially to the one your supposed to love, honor, and cherish.

If he lies he will have too much shit to deal with on his return if his wife finds out, he should either, tell her he is going, not go at all if he has to lie, find another wife, preferably one that trust's him as it is obvious his wife doesn't.
