Please don't flame me, I've been out of the loop for a while  . Whats the latest on smoking IN coffeeshops, i.e. can you smoke joints indoors? Think last time I was lookign into it, there was some confusion and nothing seemed clear (had just blitzed a fatty of Amneisa though... ) I know there will be a thread on this somewhere, just can't seem to find it. If a fellow toker could point a lost stonner in the right direction I'll move along now....nothing to see here

Thanks

One has always been allowed to smoke cannabis inside a coffeeshop. Some shops in far flung cities have become clubs and become buy and flys.
You won't have this problem in Amsterdam. It's not very difficult to find a place to smoke outside in Amsterdam. I have my favorite bench along a canal that works for me.

Enjoy

One of the major events for coffeeshops in Amsterdam is the High Times Cannabis Cup, which takes place towards the end of November, during the week of Thanksgiving. This major smoking event usually leads to coffeeshop crawls and cannabis clouds throughout the city.

Well yes and no, it does differ, most CS's are OK, some have seperated the smoking area and some have outside spaces. I think generally Amsterdam CS's do their own thing but some other municipalities enforce the no smoking law, which is primarily for the protection of their workers.
Blaze on :D

I have been to amsterdam twice the past year and i have never had a problem smoking in a coffee shop either with or without tobacco, in fact in some of the shops i went in i saw people smoking cigarrettes even some of the owners/budtenders were smoking. So you wont have no problems.

The majority of the coffeeshops I went in had seperate areas for smoking joints with tobacco, and coffeeshops without generally let you smoke with tobacco anywhere.

Out of curiosity, is there a reason you dug up an old thread?

Peace
