I wonder why the topic of famous people dying turns into a more than unpleasant chat more often than not. Are we so insignificant in our own lives that we have to get validated through popular culture icons and defend them or attack them so vigorously? I mean yeah, there are people who think Amy was a great talent and there are those who think she was crap. Then again, there are those who perceive it as a loss of a life, which is always tragic, but there are bigger things in life than this (recent example is what happened in Norway). I personally have never been a fan and while it is a shame she was lost to drugs so young, that is basically all I could be bothered to say about the matter.
