Did you forget that it was you that started with the personal attacks? How do you expect me to respond? What gave you the impression I want to move to China? Which part don't I get?

I said the UK government controls more of the UK economy than the Chinese government controls of the Chinese economy, I've proven that to be a fact. I also said Chinas economic growth is a direct result of the government allowing more economic freedom. What exactly is it you're disputing?

Where have you proven that the first fact? I see absolutely no proof of that.

The second point you have also not proven. Chinese growth is a result of a multitude of factors, some minor easing up on regulations is a tiny part. The majority of their growth is based on the fact that they started from almost nothing, they have low wages, and a government (dictatorship) controlled economy.

You clearly like simplistic answer to complex issues. Its quite common of people who have large egos and smoke lots of week, at least in my experience. Regardless, you amuse me and a few other posters here. However, debating with you is quite tiresome, since you really are not very mature.

My 'proof' comes from working with Chinese clients and doing projects there. You have come on this board and acted like a know-it-all, offending a number of members, and generally acting like a spoiled, petulant ass. We see your type come and go all the time, you will be out of here sooner rather than later. You are boring, boring. Enjoy the satisfaction that you are always right. LOL

And with that I need to find the hide function here.

I confirmed the first point to be true by doing a quick search on google, you obviously didn't look at the link I posted. Try and find one source that says the Chinese government controls more of Chinas economy than the British government controls of the UK economy, you can't, not even a lunatic would make such clearly wrong claims. You are the first person I have come across that disputes the fact that economic growth in China is due to the free market. All mainstream media agrees, all none mainstream media, all historians, the Chinese government, most Chinese people, even the writer of the news article that YOU linked me to agrees. You have nothing to support your claims, you just make assertions and that's good enough for you.

About the working with Chinese clients and doing projects there - I call bullshit. Even if it were true, how does working with some Chinese people qualify you to become an expert in macro level economics?

:D Indeed!!! It's especially a shame on this website. I must say it's one of the few forums i visit that doesn't degrade into flaming on almost every thread, yet still manages to be entertaining.

The pic wasn't meant as a jibe, but rather an injection of humour(hopefully) in a slightly heated "discussion"!

Please, continue.... ...China called America's mum fat... Discuss!

Sorry, I never intended to turn your post into a flame war, some people just have to start with personal attacks when someone doesn't agree with them, then they cry when I respond with abuse. I say, if you don't want to be on the receiving end of abuse, don't go provoking people.

imho the reason for the acd forum having less flaming than other forums is Lemming's Golden Rule

the rule is quoted below, the full discussion is given in the link ...

"The rule is: say what you like about anything but don't throw insults at other members."

Ha ha, how most posts do you have on this board, and how many are abusive and/or you know it all? More than half.

You are typical semi-troll poster, of which I have seen scores come and go since I joined ACD. You won't make 500 posts, just like the rest youwill find another place to infect with your positive attitude.

By all means, during your next visit, stay in the Centrum (where according to you all the action is). The rest of us who live here won't have any chance of you discovering the real Amsterdam. Ciao.

Edit: Where is the world did I make a personal attack at you? If being called a troll is a personal attack, your pucker is too sensitive.
