How comes the International Hashish to Amsterdam?

Hey,

in every Coffeeshop you can buy different Hashes from Nepal, India, Morocco etc.

How is this Stuff coming to Amsterdam? Does it come with a Ship out of this countries or is there anywhere in the Nederlands a "Hashish Factory"

And if it's coming with an Ship, isnt that illegal?

Balou is right, and I wanted to add, that the bringing in of Foreign dope is definitely NOT tolerated, so it's hard to get people to divulge much.

But, everything in the world seems to make it's way into Amsterdam, it was all there before the government tried to tame and tax it with the coffeehouses, it will be there if they ever shut them down, which is why they are probably not going to anytime soon. Amsterdam has been a major world center for global trade since people first started having enough stuff to trade, and *the* center in the 1400s through the rise of the British and French empires. That character, and the churn that comes from being on the water at the edge of western europe is my favorite part of the city.

Yeah it comes the same way as morrocan hash comes to France/UK, that's why morrocan is priciest in NL than in France

What is interesting is that one regularly reads of busts in NL for cannabis plantations, and for hard drug imports, but I do not recall any busts in the past 3 years for smuggling hash.

lets say there is a group in holland, which is acting through the dutch/us military in afghanistan and they would get a few tons of the black afghaan over here, nobody would bust them as there would be too high ranked people involved....

but hey, I am just guessing

as for the morrocan hash: have you ever thought about the price difference of morrocan and afghan hash? of course there is much better morrocan hash around than there is high grade black, but most of the price is, because it goes through many different hands, sometimes its "only" a 50-100kg shipment that arrives at the "big guys" in the netherlands.....thats not much if you think of the demand

Weed/hash is only tolerated they are still 100% illegal, the sale of weed/hash however is legal, growing weed is illegal as is importing hash to sell but the government get a nice chunk of sales tax so they dont care, most of the hash will go by land, the morrocan hash for example only has to get to spain then it can be driven.

Boner- I would guess the stuff from Asia still comes in on the ships, no? Those big shipping containers hold a lot of secrets.

Mostly, I think that as the hash makes it into the city it is in larger quantities than can be carried by human mule. I'd be surprised if most of what we smoke in the coffee shops came that way.
