Cheapest places that come to mind is Ricks and Susies Sallon (next door to Ricks). Ricks on happy hour is €2.50\€2.75 a pint if I recall correctly while happy hour at Susies is a little more expensive. You wont find anywere that does cheap drinks all the time but as a rule the futher you go out of the city centre the cheaper the prices tend to be. But a lot of bars do have some form of happy hours or offers.

Mind you, on my last trip I more snacked for the entire 4 days as dont recall having a propper meal the entire time I was there. Chips and mayo filled a gap for me with the pizza slice which looks ok when stoned with the odd visit to Febo in between. But I did have the shits by the last day so would have done better to snack at the AH stores instead!.

Albert Hein to stock up on cheap drinks and munchies for the hotel - always drink lots and stuff myself before going out to reduce coffeeshop drink spending, Wok to Walk or Wok to Go, Burger Bar and either an Indonesian place or Cafe de Klos for a steak as a treat! I've never been hungry enough to use febo!!
