totally legal in "SOAPYLAND" ...but for some strange the irish govt doesn`t recognise my country or its by-laws ....but i did spend sometime in tavira portugal where some locals told me its legal to carry up to an oz of anything ya want

i think what soapy meant is in his own private country, ie. population: 1 = Soapy himself, i think we can all relate to that!
Irish laws and government are of course pure and utter gobshites!
very interesting is the Portugal "experiment" BTW.

there are many other examples that we rarely become aware of, obviously because they are hardly talked about (read: advertised) abroad, for example the Czech Republic is very tolerant, or at least it was back in the 90s when i was traveling there, and so is (was?) in many regions in Spain, with many bars, especially in densely populated urban area, where joints are (were?) smoked, and even little bags use(d) to exchange hands freely, under everyone's eyes...
