Absinthe

Hey heading over in January, was thinking about some absinthe one night. Can anyone give me some info, dosage, what happens, all that good stuff? thank you

Absinthe can be nice man, but its really strong, so be carefull.

I wouldnt recomend smoking loads then hitting the Absinthe

Nah dont smoke and drink it, people rave about it, but meh, its ok, and you wouldnt need much to get pissed.

If you want to end up in a puking mess go for it. But I personally would'nt smoke and drink that stuff at the same time. Buy a bottle and bring it back home with you, would be my recommendation.

so where can u find it in amsterdam? is it legal to bring back to canada?

if everyone gets sick why do people enjoy it?

and i guess what happends to u? like how does it affect you?

Go to the bar at the Hemp Hotel for great Abstinthe. They even have "Cannabis Abstinthe" for those with big balls.

Cremers, a great coffee shop in The Hague, also sells absinthe for 3,50 euro a drink.

never saw this thread....but maybe i can help now...first i wouldnt recommend to drink this stuff more than once or twice in a month....its not a joke: this stuff is toxic! and harms your liver when used to much....

i dont know how it is in holland today but absinth was illegal in the most euopean countrys(also holland!) for almost the whole last century...
then about 15 years ago absinth came back with a truncated dose of the psycho-active substance thujon.. <35mg/kg (the stuff which made van gogh to cut his own ear off was about 300mg/kg or more ive heard)..
thujon is the little friend who makes this drink so special..its chemical constitution is very simmilar to thc..its realy almost the same....
so the effects of absinth are compareable with the perfect mixture of being drunk and high(for me)...but only if u do it well:not too much(dont drink it like alcohol... when u think uve reached a good position try to hold it)! and lots of water to the drink(absinth ritual)

ps:...never had such a bad hangover than after a nigth of czech absinth...damn i realy thougth of suizide..remind these words^^
