So the last train out of Haarlem back to Centraal is at 01:16 on the Friday night that I'm thinking of going there. Next train is at 06:16. Catching the last train or staying out all night is not part of the plan.

Can anyone tell me approximately how much a taxi would cost or if a taxi will even take me back to Centraal that night? Night bus?

I'd drop dead if I had to ride a bike back from Haarlem!

I haven't totally given up on the idea of riding a bike to/from. But want to look at all options. If there is bad weather or I'm alone, biking might be a bit too much to handle.

The N30 runs at 2:15 and 4:15 to Schiphol, then you could take the train to Centraal.

From experience,don't wait for the last train, sometimes they cancel it without notice..

Well the airport is about halfway to Haarlem, and that is about 40 or so from centraal station to the airport, so maybe 100 euros for a taxi. However, agree to this first as they do not always use the meter at night.
