Actually it failed because all of the growers voted against it. They knew if it were to pass everyone would be growing and their business would go down.

Sounds logical enough, but then that HAS to mean that it ALSO didn't pass because not enough stoners went out and voted YES.. The farmer-to-stoner ratio has to be huge? 500:1 for commercial type operation, and 100:1 for something smaller and more local?

My numbers there are just guesses, i have no idea, just pointing out something obvious regardless of what true (we will never know) numbers are.

And that is also correct. You got to go to northern california to realize just how many growers there are. Everyone in my friends small town is a grower and its like that all over Humboldt County. One of the big businesses up there are stores that supply growers. Its incredible.
