"Boner", i clicked on the link and thankfully only saw the little girl standing there...... not being run over twice.
Ironically i was chatting to the woman whilst having my hair cut today and we both went on about how the world today excuses people from helping out people in need, for fear of consequencies that have little bearing in reality.
A woman or child crying in the street and men find it very difficult to offer assistance in case this is seen as predatory behaviour.
People in general and women in particular, who fear being in places that are unfamilar and/or at night, because the 'Bad' man is out to get them, so they won't ask for help when they need it.
I used to work with people who needed support in their daily lives and got used to stepping in to help in varying degrees when needed. It's something i hope i will never loose.
For so many people to ignore a child so obviously in need of help is shocking. I've seen people turn a blind eye out of embarassment, but never in these circumstances....
