hot chocomel and poffertjes! but where?

seems like the misses my best friend and i will be heading to amsterdam once again in early january and i was wondering if theres a good place to have some hot chocomel alongside some fresh poffertjes? i have only bought poffertjes of the street vendors so far !

Greendayz coffee on Warmoesstraat (next to the condom shop). lovely poffertjes with choices of topping and sauces to choose from, lovely coffee (in a mug) good prices (not sure they did chocomel, but there homemade ice creams were divine. Albert Heijn shops do a litre of chocomel 1 euro.

I've eaten there many times. Their uitsmijters and appelgebak are fantastic too.

Rene's bakery has them!! (right off of Dam Square...)

This time of year (well, at least in November) there are plenty of pop-up vendors selling on the streets too!

thanks for the replies folks ill check that out it looks decent! yeah the street vendors are fine but we will be there first week in january and i expect it to be cold so we where thinking of enjoying hot choco and poffertjes somewhere cosy inside

smoking friendly is probably to much to ask lol lunch cafe isnt all that far away from the houseboat we will be staying at!

ah nice one i didnt know that as i only ben in amsterdam in the winter once at new years eve! so i guess finding poffertjes wont be a problem thanks for the tip!

to bad i wont make it once again for the cup this year and will get to miss meeting alot of the folks from around here! well maybe next year you never know!
