LOL. The amount of stupid and woefully ignorant people from Europe never fails to astound me. Watch throwing stones in the glass house.

yea...thats how you say thanks for saving your ass...you wouldn't have 3/4 of the things you have w/o the U.S. ...criticism should be constructive...I don't see the UK topping any charts of world affairs and it sounds like you haven't gotten over the U.S. being the first colony or subjugated people that overthrew an oppressive yoke (UK)...you obviously have the country and the people mixed up...you should visit or at least understand the people before you make broad generalizations.

Great!!! Let's try really hard to turn the ACD into every other Message Board online...

...Nothing but pathetic bickering between equally pathetic, ignorant people... To what ends? Really?

I'm not even going to start pointing out the hypocrisy, ignorance and hatred in the above comment, but i will say that it's intent(as well may have been the OP's) is in nature to stir up a pointless argument which should be met with good humour and not bigotry.

Some people react to their country in the same way they react to their religion... Blindly, with self righteous obnoxious fervour! ...In reality, they are only hurting themselves by not accepting their flaws.

I don't want this to be seen as an insult to anybody; and i don't want to become a target because i stupidly opened my mouth on such a touchy subject... But i really felt i needed to.

All i can add is:

Peace!!

It wasn't the criticism, it was the infection... Much like the one you used there, which was slightly antagonistic, with an overtone of delusion!

I am not a patriot!

I wish i was Danish...

...Or a Finn.

did Christmas once...cold as hell...we avoid the tourist shops during the cup and its never a problem...I didn't even know the cup was happening for 3 or 4 years...always went for thanksgiving (U.S. thing  ) and was always so lit that I never noticed...lots of great folks and lots of decadent hash indulgence...
