That's my thing, i think... Cold, Dark and Cosy... I think the winter suits the Dam so much... I've only done summer once and i just couldn't get comfortable... Done winter 9 times but never Xmas... It's the lights that attract me, i think... I float around like a very happy moth.freewheelin frank wrote:did Christmas once...cold as hell...we avoid the tourist shops during the cup and its never a problem...I didn't even know the cup was happening for 3 or 4 years...always went for thanksgiving (U.S. thing) and was always so lit that I never noticed...lots of great folks and lots of decadent hash indulgence...

Yes I've been to America and yes I will be going again next year but I do agree with SOME of the things what was said in that original post.

^^ I was expecting you to be 18 or 19 years of age then I was watching your youtube videos and I was very surprised to see that you're 40/50 years old

you like wendys? im suprised. wendys isn't that good imo. waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to greesy.Taylor wrote:Ok stoners arguing? Not good.
HOWEVER all countries do have their positives and negatives and even though in the USA most of the negatives outweigh the positives it's still a beautiful country (founded by us of course![]()
) And a lot of good things have come out of America (man I love Wendys)
Chin up ole lads!
personally i think its posts like this that cause problems. i mean is it really needed? although personally it doesn't bother me it obviously bothers alot of others. seems like its just to get a rise out of others. reverse the situation and have someone make a post "why im glad im not from the uk" even if it had valid points or reasoning people would be offended. just my 2 cents. the posts on here are getting more and more juvenile. i have been thinking i may be jumping ship like others on here have.

Over exaggerating a bit aren't we? Lol. I'm sure people are on many boards. I'm on grass city and uk420 but I still find the people on here are the nicer ones to talk to.
And it was canna who quoted a crudely worded piece from someone else, he did not type it.
just going on my experience on this forum since 2006. no i don't believe im over exaggerating. im not going to bother seeping through 5 years of posts but if you want to you can see for yourself. someone makes a crack about europe or the uk and before ya know it multiple members are on them like flies on shit calling them ignorant. im also not the only one who's noticed this. and yea i know canna posted it. iv got nothing against canna(actually chat with him quite often on the forum chat, good guy) or anyone on here for that matter. i've just noticed in the last year this place has become a lot less chill than it was before. no disrespect to you taylor. only really quoted ya for the wendys bit. i still like this forum, but talking to others outside this forum..on msn/fb etc iv found myself thinking about not being on the forum anymore. first time iv even contemplated that in the last 5 years.
