I keep timing out!!!!!

Any ideas why i keep timing out when i try and post?? This the 3rd time i've tried to post this..Ahhhhhhhhh......

When you log in check the box that says keep me logged in, problem solved.

Cheers for that reply "Balou", tried to post a reply myself several times but despite using your fix it didn't make any difference. (Stopped after the forth attempt as i was in danger of taking it out on the computer!!)
Pretty sure now it's my internet provider, "Sky" = WANKERS , so if i ever find a way of getting through to a "Sky" person who is not a total idiot/wanker (this is from many, many hours of previous experience) i'll see what excuse/fix they'll give me. Cheers again.

Have you tried using a different browser? Google chrome or firefox? if that doesnt work then give TOR a go..

If none of those solutions work, have you tried another laptop or pc on your network to see if it is just happening to your main machine?

Cheers "Hulldj" i'll try all options. What i have found is that since moving to "Sky" my down load speed has dropped and i keep getting messages like ....cannot display webpage, .....webpage has expired, this is when i'm trying to get on to the ACD site .....and the phone i have in the livingroom has not worked since i moved to "Sky" ......all my fault apparently ....and it's hard to disagree with this as it was me that changed to "Sky".
I've not said for a while, ...they're a bunch of wankers and i really hope "Rupert" and his boy get some jail time, ....the biggest wankers of them all

You could also try hard wiring to your router, if you are wireless that is. If wireless, does your wireless have a password? If not.... why not? Your neighbours could be hammering your connection, Hence the drop outs. Some people have been using 2.4ghz/mhz ( i forget which) TV senders that have been causing some issues with wireless connections too.

Can you access your router and see what speed you are connected at, both upload and download.

thanks for all that advice "Hulldj" it has been a bit better over the weekend and a technically minded friend will be over for a drink tomorrow night. (No weed ) I typed a nice longer reply to you but the bastard said i'd timed out again. If you don't see this i'm off for a kebab if it posts i'm off for a kebab to celebrate!! Doh!!!!

Well at last (I hope) it looks as though the problem has been found and sorted and i can stay connected to the net and finally have an download speed that means I don't have to wait 20 sec for a new page to load. Cheers for the help again "Balou" and especially you "hulldj" for all the pointers...... that i'm afraid as a technophobe went right over my head
It turned out my internet speed had been capped by "Sky"??? and my internet speed was 80kbits per sec, barely enough to keep my phone going, i found this out from one of the two engineers that had to come and sort the problem out( that would be the ones Sky were going to charge me £120 a time to send out as it was all my fault!!!)
So, rant over and if this gives anyone who keeps timing out in the future some ideas, then all bad language will not be in vain......Oh, have i not said for a while, ......... "Sky" are a load of wankers.....

Glad to see you got it sorted matey.

Man that would seriously piss me off... 80k a little embarrasing for Skys upto 20mb service.

If you have problems again I can talk you through how to see what your connection speed is via the router, like in the picture of my shitty connection posted previously.
