Hi from the Pacific NW

Post by EasilySuede »

Nice little global community you have here! Lots of great advice. Cheers.

I've spent around two months of total time visiting Amsterdam over my life, even been to Queen's Day (April 30th) a couple of times, but never to THE CUP. Reeealy looking forward to this. Do you guys go all "CSI: Amsterdam" while you're judging?

I'm getting a head-start on the 9 hour time difference (flight's in 2 days) by doing a 3am local wake-n-bake... watching Trailer Park Boys (kitties, know what I'm sayin'), and enjoying some of DNA's Sour Cream.

Look forward to meeting, greeting, and having a great time; and if any of you will be around for the weekend after the cup and want to do anything...

BTW, if you have a Volcano, bring your weed chamber and bag (well-cleaned and stealthily packed, both ways, natuurlijk). You'll be glad you did- really speeds things up, even during the non-cup times I've been, so imagine...

Greetings from Portland. Enjoy your trip to the Cup. I'll be there a bit after you...12/15 - 12/24. I like going in the off-season - less crowded. Wish I could stay longer than 9 days!

Welcome to the forum.

What dates will you be in Amsterdam?
I'll post you on the Whos In Town page.
You can see who else may be in town and any Toke & Talks that are planned.

Fly-
I'll be arriving early Nov. 19th, and returning early on the 28th.
Thanks, and thanks

Dazed-
If you don't want to see crowded, do not go during Queens Day... the whole length of the Leidsestraat becomes one long mosh pit, and the rest of the city doesn't fair much better. But it's all so gezelling. BTW, gotta love that non-stop Delta flight!

Two days to departure now, and I'm looking forward to seeing some smiling faces bound for the same destination/activity as we board the flight. Three days from now I hope to be holding my judges pass.

See you soon...

You have been posted on the November Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it.
There is a lot going on during your visit.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/membe ... le&u=73907

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

Tak nabo!
Looks like a good time. I'll bring my Volcano chamber and bag, to help bump up the bandwidth.

Walked down to Borchland to get my judges pass and ran into 2 Svenskers and 2 Danskers while there. Needed the big walk after sitting in the plane for 10,5 hours. Lekker Turkish food along the way. Then was finally checked into the Quentin, and using their wifi at the moment. Now... must... stay... AWAKE! Time for an uber potent sativa?

PS Can't believe how nice the weather is
