Best smoke for a non smoker

Hey all...

3 days 'til I have the pleasure of visiting the best city on Earth! Have been a few times, but always with fellow smokers who know their grades- this time I am bringing my girl who isn't a toker, she's tried it once some years ago and never really liked it (due to taste of cigarette)

I've explained to her about vapes and she's now up for the idea of smoking a little bit of bud, would any one recommend anything that is quite a mild, uplifting giggly high that won't be anything too intense.

Go with the vape, defo...just find a lighter sativa, it's no use really recommending particular strains as it all depends on where you go. Taking little hits, and waiting a while to gauge the effects is the way to go. You don't have to avoid stronger weeds as such, just take less...plus...that's where all the flavour is usually.

Never tried a vape, as I quite like a smoke to be honest, but as for your G/F and a nice weed--she would probably prefer a weed that gave her a good laugh rather that one which zonked her into the chair--that being the case stay away from full throttle indicas and go for one of the hazes or a mixed strain, my wife never smoked till she got to A/Dam and got a good kick off Laughing Buddah which is an old reasonably priced strain, not too strong with a good feel to it which is not too overpowering, if the smoking thing turns her off, even vapourising it, then buy her a couple of spacecakes. Either way I hope she has a good time because the sooner she does the better YOU will be able to relax and enjoy your holiday--have a nice trip.

Laughing Buddah last time was 8E a gram from the Rokerij chain, of which there are maybe 4 shops dotted around the city, and if your in the Rokerij check out AMG special, its pretty good IMO.

Best smoke for my non smoker was space cake from Dampkring 2 with a hot chocolate to activate it It only has 0.4g in it but thats more than enough for non-smoker. I had a few bites of it, very fresh, moist, tasty, and powerful! She got many visuals, had fun with her, but she did have headache (she has migraines) next morning.

**** You got 1-2 hour TOPS to get someone to chill with her. Don't expect much if its the 1st time! LOL

I tried vaping with her, but she claimed she couldn't inhale. After I showed her how, she still claimed she couldn't feel it. I think that phenomenon is from people having unreal expectations of what its like to be "high"

Since the girl friend has no experience, I would proceed with caution. I would break the cake into quarters and let her eat one piece wait about 30 minutes to see what's happening and then eat a second piece, if needed. I'm no heavyweight even though I've been smoking since 1968, but I have eaten the cakes from the Dampkring and a half can get you seriously stoned especially on the day of your arrival. The one thing you do NOT want your girlfriend to experience is sativa driven paranoia! She doesn't have the experience to recognize it for what it is and definitely will not enjoy it. The sugar in the hot chocolate should moderate the effects of the cake, but discretion is the better part of valor so proceed with caution. If you don't, you may be looking for a new girl friend.

With smoking or vaping you can titrate the dose by taking a few tokes and waiting a minute or two to gauge the effects. Space cake could be a recipe for disaster.

I agree actually - the effects of ingesting cannabis can be completely mind blowing and should be treated with extreme caution. Although 0.4g isn't that much, possibly not enough to tip you over the edge. On an empty stomach it might be though. If you don't mind the idea of hysterical uncontrollable laughter for about two hours, go for it.

I remember as a teenager a friend and I ingested a fair quantity of hash yoghurts in his bedroom in his parent's house one evening. Both of us were practically tripping, babbling utter nonsense and suffering from fits of uncontrollable laughter and rushes going up and down our bodies. I decided to go home after an unknown period of time and walked back to my house. I put the key into the lock of my door and suddenly saw what looked like a ghost rushing towards me through the glass door. Terrified, I ran back to my friend's house and started throwing stones at his window to see if he'd let me in. There was no response but the next day he told me that he had been lying in bed listening to the sound of me throwing stones against his window in a state of paranoid terror, with no idea where the sound was coming from or what it was

It might sound crazy but I think the effects of mushrooms are actually easier to deal with than those of eating cannabis.

I would suggest something with an awesome flavor and that is smooth to smoke and just take it easy, just a couple of hits at a time and let the friend build up pace, something sweet and fruity so your friend can see that it's a pleasurable experience

My wife (a non-smoker at home) just takes a couple puffs of whatever I'm having...and it's never been a problem.

If she wants more, she can always take another hit. One or two to start and give it some time to kick in.

First timers/non-smokers should probably stay away from space cakes...
