Lafe, do you know if once i land i could phone them to pick up at the airport to take us to centrum or would i have to wait too long ? train seems to be the best bet so far according to other users ?

It's best to make a reservation the evening before.

Train: cheap and easy, but if you have budget for a taxi Melody rocks. As I said, I normally do train on the way in. How I leave depends on how early my flight leaves ;-)

I have never taken a taxi on the way in. I always buy a multiple day GVB pass at the TI in the airport as well as a one way train ticket. Buying the GVB pass at the airport prevents the miserable wait at the main office just outside Centraal Station. The pass is good for tram, bus, and nightbus.

The shuttle buses don't run in the RLD. The closest drop would be near Centraal Station or closer to the Dam. And there are elevators on every platform at CS so need to use the stairs.

landing at 13.30 want to dump the cases and get some weed asap lol thanks for your help guys it seems like I'l take the train in and walk from CS to RLD.

only taken a cab to the airport a few times. once when i was with fam and once when i didn't have time to tram all the way to cs. started as a cab just to cs but ended up saying just take me to the airport please. cost me 40 euros once and 50 another.

About 40 euro. You could also take bus 197 or 370 too.
