Hey Cisco,
The pics you posted, they run counter clockwise from top left?
If so, the pic on the top right is what I assume to be the reduction?
I'm not sure how far I want to reduce, but at the very least purging of chemicals is an absolute.
Otherwise, why even bother making hash in the first place, right?
I have spread my gear onto wax paper for the purge, and it seems to be doing fine.
I heat up the gear, work it for a few minutes, then transfer it to a fresh piece of wax paper and place it into a plastic sandwich container.
I partially close the lid, allowing just a small space to allow air exchange and prevent foreign objects from contaminating my gear.
It's worked so far, might as well leave alone. If it ain't broke don't fix it and all that...
Enjoy your gear... :D

The pics are not in any order as such , jus a collage of some pics I took during the process . The top right pic is just a picture of the nozzle hole on my extractor

Nice...
...but what's up with the tiny bubbles?
Doesn't matter what it is or what it contains, NO TINY BUBBLES.
Ok, maybe some tiny bubbles in sparkling wine, but NOT TINY BUBBLES in honey oil.
Seriously, this is an ongoing issue with me, but the bubbles are much smaller - the last remnants of butane in my mix, I think...
I've gotten rid of mine by working it over time, but then become impatient and separate a small portion. I add some heat and work it until the bubbles are gone.
I realize there is some loss of quality, and quantity as well. But dab it, I want to dab, and I want to dab now.

I was just down on the farm and the plants are frosting over nicely.
There will definitely be some honey oil this Fall, and quite possibly some for Chrimbo as well.

Happy concentrating...
